Chris Hemsworth announces career pause due to high probability of suffering from Alzheimer's

Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the Marvel Universe, has been informed by several doctors that he is genetically predisposed to suffer from Alzheimer's. The 39-year-old actor decided to listen to the experts and announces a career break.

The Australian actor underwent several tests for the Disney+ documentary series, Limitless, and it was discovered that Chris Hemsworth is between eight and ten times more likely to suffer from Alzheimer's than an ordinary person.

Chris Hemsworth's grandfather suffers from this pathology. The actor thus announces a pause in his career to deal with and apply all the necessary tools to prevent this disease.
