To produce cold cut, pork or poultry is used, which is subjected to a brine process and then molded, cooked and refrigerated. As it is highly processed, it is rich in salt, sugars and many additives. The ham, on the other hand, can be produced using only two ingredients: pork and salt. In addition to being rich in fat, it is practically free of sugars. Attention should be paid to consumption, as it has high salt levels.
