Most of life in cities recovered after the Covid-19 pandemic, the EIU index shows. 173 cities were evaluated in five categories: stability, health care, culture, environment, education and infrastructure. It was noted in this study that life in cities has improved a lot compared to the last 15 years.

The larger the city, the higher the levels of crime, congestion and density. These factors lead to the largest cities leaving penalised. London (United Kingdom) fell 12 places compared to 2022, being now the 46thº more liveable and New York (USA) fell 10 places, now moving to the 69.ª position.
The best cities to live in Europe if you want to move to another city or country are: Vienna, Copenhagen, Zurich, Geneva and Frankfurt.
The best cities to live in North America to live in are almost all in Canada, except Honolulu (USA): Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Honolulu.
The best cities to live in Asia-Pacific are: Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Auckland and Osaka.
The best cities to live in Latin America and the Caribbean are: Buenos Aires, Santiago and Montevideo.
The best cities to live in Africa-Middle East are: Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Tel Aviv.
