The fittest man alive has reformed. How does Mat Fraser live now?

In October 2020 he won the title of champion of the CrossFit Games for the fifth consecutive time. With this feat, Mat Fraser surpassed the feat of Rich Froning that Jr. who had managed to be champion four times.

It was in early February 2021 that the "fittest man alive" immediately decided to end his career at the CrossFit Games.

In an interview with Men's Health magazine, the athlete who resides in Tennessee revealed that "during the 2020 season, I knew that would be my last year. I just wanted to solve a few things before saying this in public. I don't like to make decisions in the heat of the moment."

Mat says he will now focus on helping other athletes who want to participate in the CrossFit Games or who want to have a healthier lifestyle: "I didn't want them to know what my mental state was, my training tools, my tactics and all that. But now I want to help them: if I have a trick that may be relevant to them or I did something during training that I found beneficial, I will want to share it with them."
