Unprocessed red meat is good for your health

A team of researchers in the United States analyzed several studies on the consumption of red meat and the risk of stroke. Unprocessed meat is one that is fresh, has not been packaged, cooked, canned or altered.

180 studies, carried out in several countries, on food choices and the effects of these choices on public health were analyzed. The study was published in the journal Nature Medicine.

Scientists have found that there is no great relationship between unprocessed red meat and stroke.

A diet low in vegetables increases the risk of developing heart disease by between 0 and 15%, advances the Daily Mail. Smoking increases the risk of developing lung cancer by 106%, reports the study now published.
