Messi has the most liked post in the history of Instagram

A publication by Lionel Messi lifting the World Cup trophy in Qatar broke all taste records on Instagram and became the most liked publication in the entire history of the company of photos and videos.

Messi plays for Paris Saint-Germain in Paris, France, was the great talisman of Argentina. The South American country was the big winner of the Qatar World Cup.

This did not stop him from playing sensationally throughout the tournament, putting five other Guinness World Records titles in the process:

• Match Man Majority Awards won at the FIFA World Cup: 11

• First person to help in five different FIFA World Cups

• Most FIFA World Cup matches played by a player: 26

• Most appearances in the FIFA World Cup as captain: 19

• Most appearances in FIFA World Cup tournaments by one player (man): 5

Football icon colleague and longtime rival Cristiano Ronaldo recently became the first person to reach 500 million followers on Instagram; he was already the most followed person in the app.
