MattDoesFitness did the Russian army's physical exercise

British bodybuilder and YouTuber Matt Morsia, better known as MattDoesFitness, never says no to a good fitness exercise.

Matt has already taken the physical fitness test for the U.S. Air Force and the British Army, without having any kind of physical preparation for them. The athlete says he took the Russian army test, although we can't officially prove where he went to get these measures, which is quite challenging.

The challenge of the Russian army is divided into nine stages and each of them is challenging:

  1. 3,000-meter race (12 minutes - passes; 11 minutes and 40 seconds - good; 11 minutes and 20 seconds - great; 11 minutes - gold)

  2. 100-meter race (12 minutes - passes; 11 minutes and 40 seconds - good; 11 minutes and 20 seconds - great; 11 minutes - gold)

  3. 10x10 meter Suicides (26 minutes - passes; 25 minutes - good; 24 minutes - great; 23 minutes - gold)

  4. Pull-ups (+20 - passes; +23 - good; +26 - great; +28 - gold)

  5. Tricep dips (+30 - passes; +35 - good; +40 - great; +45 - gold)

  6. Full hanging leg raises (+12 - passes; +15 - good; +18 - great; +20 - gold)

  7. Pull-ups (+60 - passes; +65 - good; +70 - great; +75 - gold)

  8. Bench press (+10 - passes; +12 - good; +15 - great; +18 - gold)

  9. Hand-to-hand combat

Matt misses the seventh Russian military exercise by doing only 42 reps, when the minimum to pass would be 60: "You're killing me. There was no way I was going to get 60”, he says.

"I feel like an absolute shadow of myself, literally struggling," says Morsia. "All in all I'm fairly satisfied, not happy. I can't emphasise enough how much harder those things are when done back-to-back in succession."
